The Beris Butterfly loose ring snaffle is fitted with the innovative butterfly mouthpiece. This anatomically shaped mouthpiece provides a broader contact surface with the horse’s tongue, allowing this sensitive muscle an optimal amount of space while maintaining a gentle contact for control. As the pressure is increased on the rein the mouthpiece rotates to give a more keen action on the tongue. Horses respond well to this mouthpiece, showing increased chewing activity and acceptance of the bit. The Butterfly mouthpiece gives the bit additional tongue pressures, by reverting to the more comfortable position once the pressure from the rein is released. Ideal for horses with sensitive mouths.
